Player dispute escalation

Player Complaints & Resolution

If a withdrawal is being held, a bonus has not credited, or an account has been closed with a balance on it, there is an established order for escalating it. This page sets out that order and the evidence to have ready before you start.

We do not currently mediate disputes

BetSiteRank has no complaints desk open and no arrangement with any operator to intervene on a player's behalf. We are not a regulator and we cannot compel a casino to pay. Escalate through the operator and its licensing authority using the steps below - that route has actual force behind it.

Play responsibly

Escalate in this order

Skipping a step usually gets a case sent back to it.

01

Operator support

Raise it in writing through the casino's own support channel and ask for a ticket or reference number. Most payout holds are resolved here, and every later stage will ask what the operator said.

02

Formal complaint

If support stalls, ask for the operator's formal complaints procedure by name. Licensed operators are required to have one, and it starts the clock their regulator will later measure them against.

03

Licensing authority

Escalate to whoever licences the casino. The licence is normally named in the site footer - verify it there rather than trusting a badge image, and check it is current.

04

Independent ADR

Alternative dispute resolution bodies review cases independently of the operator. Some regulators route disputes to an ADR provider instead of handling them directly.

Evidence to gather first

A complaint moves faster when the first message already contains everything needed to check it. Collect these before contacting anyone, and keep the originals rather than retyping them:

  • Your account username or ID, and the email the account is registered to.
  • Dates and times of the deposit, the play, and the withdrawal request.
  • Transaction IDs or hashes for the deposit and the attempted withdrawal.
  • Screenshots of the balance, the pending withdrawal, and any error message.
  • The exact terms clause the operator is relying on, copied from their site.
  • The full support conversation, including ticket or reference numbers.

Where to escalate

Which body applies depends on who licenses your casino, not on where you live. Check the licence named in the operator's own site footer before filing - we do not hold licence data for the casinos in our directory, so please verify it at the source.

Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) Licenses many established operators. Runs a player support function for disputes against MGA-licensed casinos.
UK Gambling Commission Regulates the GB market but does not settle individual disputes - it directs players to an approved ADR provider.
IBAS Independent Betting Adjudication Service. A UK ADR provider that adjudicates gambling disputes at no cost to the player.
eCOGRA An independent testing and ADR body used by a number of international operators.
PAGCOR The Philippine regulator, for operators licensed domestically rather than offshore.

Operators licensed in jurisdictions with a lighter complaints regime may offer little practical recourse beyond the operator's own process. That is worth knowing before depositing rather than after — our guide on verifying a casino before depositing covers what to check.

If the money matters more than the dispute

If chasing a withdrawal has stopped being about the money, or the amount at stake is one you could not afford to lose, please stop and read our responsible gambling page. It lists free, confidential support services that are not connected to any operator or to us.

This page explains a general escalation process and is not legal advice. Complaint rights vary by licence and by country.
