Rankings on BetSiteRank are the output of the testing protocol described on our How We Test a Casino page. This page explains how those test scores translate into the ordered lists you see across the site — “Best Online Casinos,” “Fast Withdrawal Casinos,” “Best Payout Casinos,” and our geo-specific rankings for Nigeria and Brazil.
The base score
Every ranked operator starts with a score out of 100 from our six-category weighted test (payments 30%, trust 20%, games 15%, bonuses 15%, UX 10%, support 10%). Only operators that have completed our full nine-step test protocol are eligible to appear in any ranking. Untested operators do not appear — even if they are popular, licensed, or paying affiliate commissions.
Aggregated listings
Our Casino Reviews directory also lists operators we have not yet run through our own protocol. Those entries carry a rating aggregated from published third-party reviews – clearly marked “Aggregate rating from published reviews” wherever it appears, with the original sources linked on the operator’s own page. An aggregate rating is not a BetSiteRank editorial score and does not affect any ranked list on this site – only a completed nine-step protocol earns that.
How ranked lists are built
Different ranked lists weight the base score differently. A ranking for “Fast Withdrawal Casinos” weights the payments category more heavily than the base score does. A ranking for “Best Bonuses” weights the bonuses category more heavily. The methodology for each list is disclosed at the top of that list’s page, including the exact weight adjustments applied.
We do not build lists where the methodology is “operators that pay us the most.” If you see a ranking on BetSiteRank, the methodology behind it is published on that page.
Geo-specific rankings
For Nigeria and Brazil rankings, we add two filters on top of the base score. First, the operator must accept players from that country and not geo-block them. Second, they must support at least one realistic local payment method for both deposit and withdrawal, proven by our tester. An operator that technically allows Nigerian signups but can’t process a local withdrawal does not appear in our Nigeria rankings.
When rankings change
Rankings update when:
- A new test is completed and a new operator becomes eligible
- A retest produces a materially different score (we retest every six months)
- A tester flags a live issue — a failed withdrawal, a license change, a terms change — which triggers an immediate review and potential score adjustment
- An operator is delisted under our delisting criteria
Every ranking change is logged internally with the reason. Major changes are noted on the ranked list page.
Affiliate relationships and ranking
BetSiteRank earns commission when readers sign up with operators through our links. This is how the site is funded and we disclose it prominently. Affiliate commission rates vary between operators, but they do not influence rankings. A lower-paying operator that scores 88 on our protocol ranks above a higher-paying operator that scores 72. Our rankings would be worthless — to readers and ultimately to us — if this weren’t true.
Where our parent company Lotto60’s brand LuxosCasino appears in rankings, it appears in the position its test score earns and no higher. We run the same nine-step protocol against LuxosCasino that we run against every competitor, using the same testers and the same scoring. This is audited internally twice a year.
What we don’t do
- We don’t accept payment to move an operator up a ranking
- We don’t sell “featured” slots in ranked lists
- We don’t hide negative test findings for commercial partners
- We don’t rank operators we haven’t tested
- We don’t use AI or scraped data in place of real human testing
